Art and light! The images on Michele Varian's website does not do the lamp justice so I found this one. Go into the shop on Crosby Street in Soho and pick one up because this is a truly unique lamp. I would use this on a credenza in a bedroom as softer, ambient light and something nice to look at below the tv. The small is $280 and the large is $480.
