John Reeves Aqueduct Bookcase

Inspired by British and European Roman Aqueducts, John Reeves of Reeves Design has created the Aqueduct Bookcase, using solid brass sheets to delineate four levels of arches of varying sizes. With a removable drawer detailed with brass carrying handles, this bookcase adds storage as well as uniqueness to any room.

Leather Collection

The supple, green leather of Maarten De Ceulaer's Pile of Suitcases has a nice tactile quality when opening the compartments of this storage unit. The long interiors have hanging rods making this a fully functional unit. This was on display at ICFF in New York 2009.

found drawers

Wis design accumulates vintage drawers and fabricates a new chest of drawers from the hodge podge assortment. I like the inventive reuse of old drawers in a clean modern shell.

Leather basket

Either in felted wool or leather, the steel baskets are a great way to have grown-up storage bins. Jim Zivic also makes a steel cart for the storage baskets. Each bins is 12" wide x 19" deep x 7.5" high and available through Jim Zivic Design.

Bobby Berk Scratch

The Scratch 3 drawer dresser has a slight asian flair with the metal leg detail and hardware. It feels raw with the scratched mango wood but designed well. I really like a larger night stand to offset the scale of a queen or king bed and the 36" wide size is plenty of room for a nice lamp and some of your favorite accessories.

Ilse cabinet

Ilse Crawford (ilsa studio) designed 'The Other' for a well crafted furniture manufacturer, Baleri Italia. The mirrored cabinets come in may different patterns and sizes but I really enjoy the zig zag with the pom pom key. M2L collection in New York carries the series. I like the updated hollywood mirrored cabinet concept.
